Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 36-bed telemetry unit in New Hampshire. The role requires 2 years of hospital experience and IV certification, with night shifts and a 13-week assignment.

You must hold an active NH or Compact RN license, BLS, IV cert, and meet residency constraints; a 50-mile radius restriction applies and local candidates are not considered. Meditech Expanse is used for documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) required at time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based Med/Surg experience required.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• 36-bed Medical/Surgical unit (3rd Medical) with telemetry equipment.
• Patient ratios of 1:6, occasionally 1:7 during surge.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment.
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
• Unit secretary support available on day shift only; LNAs available on both shifts.
• Documentation performed in Meditech Expanse.
• Floating required to units of the same level of care.
• Self-scheduling available, though leadership may balance schedules as needed.
• Perform continuous bladder irrigation, wound care, and drain management including chest tubes and Jackson‑Pratt drains.
• Perform foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs as needed.
• Participate in bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and personal connection initiatives with patients.
• Scrubs in any color are required for dress code.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
