Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel Med Surg assignment in Duluth, Georgia. The 13-week role starts 11/16/2026 with weekly pay ranging from $1,592 to $1,744 and guaranteed 36 hours per week in a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).

The inpatient hospital unit requires active Georgia RN licensure, at least 2 years Med Surg experience, and BLS; ACLS preferred. Travel assignment requires passing credentialing and no local candidates within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg RN experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Willingness to travel and pass credentialing checks.
• No local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adult patients on the Med Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses; manage IVs and drains as ordered
• Monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, and respond to clinical alarms and emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and case managers to develop and adjust care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient education
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and AHA BLS guidelines; document accurately and timely
