Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Med Surg / Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. The right candidate will provide bedside care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.

Requirements include 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and BLS/NIH certifications. Duties include patient assessments, post-op care, medication administration, and discharge education. This travel position offers weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and NIH certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection.
• Perform ongoing assessments and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Document findings and educate families.
• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients; administer and record prescribed medications.
