Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Windber, PA. Start ASAP with 36 hours/week, 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting. Travel RN benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes for the care team.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor responses during treatments.
• Maintain a safe environment and participate in discharge planning with care teams.
