Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Windber, Pennsylvania. This contract covers 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting, offering a dynamic assignment designed for experienced travelers.

Pay ranges from 1863.41 to 1956.58 per week, with benefits and support for travel professionals. Start date ASAP, position focused on Medical-Surgical nursing and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic, bariatric, cardiac, COPD, TIA and cardiac cath patients.
• Monitor patients using Telemetry with 16 monitors on a 33-bed med-surg floor.
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 6:1.
• Collaborate with CCU staff and supervisors to read monitor strips.
• Administer treatments and support patient recovery during your shift.
