Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Pittsfield, MA. The role offers a 36-hour workweek, 12-hour night shifts, and comprehensive benefits. Requires 1 year Med Surg RN experience, MA RN license, and BLS.

You’ll deliver high-quality patient care across medical-surgical and telemetry units, coordinate with care teams, and support patients through procedures and discharge planning. Travel opportunity offers competitive pay and professional growth.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes for the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Manage multiple patients and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Ensure infection control practices, PPE use, and safety protocols.
