Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing – Nursing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pulaski, TN. You will provide high-quality care in a medical-surgical unit, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with clinicians while adhering to patient safety standards.

This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team. The ideal candidate has 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification; NIHSS/ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• NIHSS certification (preferred).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, document changes, and report concerns to the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Monitor patients and ensure safe, clean environments and infection control practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
