Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Crestview, FL. This position offers the chance to work in a hospital setting while exploring new communities and earning competitive pay.

As a Med Surg RN, you will deliver patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, perform assessments, monitor vital signs and collaborate with the care team. Start ASAP, 36 hours per week, night shift, travel employment.

Qualifications

• One year of Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist with treatments.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers on care plans.
• Manage multiple patients with priorities based on acuity.
• Ensure infection control practices and PPE use.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
