Job summary

TotalMed RN in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a travel MedSurg RN for a 13-week assignment starting 11/16/2026. The role offers 40 hours/week, days, 8-hour shifts, and a travel employment type. Candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care experience in Med Surg and BLS certification.

The RN will perform assessments, document findings, educate families, and support discharge planning. Applicants must meet requirements and be prepared for a fast-paced environment, with lifting and mobility demands

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience in Med Surg.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients including pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepars equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
