Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Banning, California. The contract is for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts.

The candidate must hold an Active RN License, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and be BLS certified with 18 months of recent acute Med/Surg experience. Travel assignments are offered by MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified provider.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
