Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This role requires active RN licensure, a nursing degree, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg acute care experience.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, day shifts on a 12-hour schedule. As part of a travel team, you’ll receive weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, credentialing fee coverage, health insurance for you and your family,

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• 18+ months of recent acute care Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med-Surg RN care for adult patients before/after surgery.
• Complete physician-ordered assignments and post‑operative care.
• Assess patient health changes and administer medications.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care.
