Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Minot, North Dakota. The RN will conduct patient assessments, document findings, and provide family education in a fast-paced Med Surg unit.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and ability to perform 12-hour shifts. Travel assignment includes 13 weeks, 48 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• TravelRN experience a plus.
• Must be able to perform 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of Med Surg patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and record administration details.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs as needed.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education as prescribed.
