TotalMed RN is seeking a Med Surg RN for a travel assignment in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role involves bedside care for diverse patients on a 12-hour rotating shift, with a 10‑week duration and 36 hours per week, starting 12/21/2026.

The RN will assess patients, document findings, and provide family education in a fast-paced setting. Requirements include 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and NIH certifications, and flexibility for travel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and NIH certifications required.
• Travel RN with ability to work 12‑hour shifts.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans.
