Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Med Surg travel nurse for a Clyde, NC assignment. This 11-week travel position requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

You will perform bedside assessments, administer meds, change dressings, and assist with discharge planning while supporting patients and families in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• 1–2 years acute care experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Aide physician during examinations and treatments.
