Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Med Surg unit in Nashville, Tennessee. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights and ASAP start.

As a Registered Nurse, you will perform patient assessments, wound and post-operative care, and manage complex conditions. Valid RN license plus BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Valid RN license and proven experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and manage complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and provide general care for patients.
• Manage care for patients with wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, chest tubes, and post-operative needs.
• Monitor patients requiring dialysis or utilizing PCA pumps.
• Administer medications, including Heparin drips, and ensure adherence to medication scanning protocols.
• Conduct safety checks every 1-2 hours and participate in bedside shift reporting.
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team to enhance patient outcomes.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in the 12 Tower Unit. This unit specializes in a wide range of patient care needs including post-operative recovery, wound care, and management of complex conditions. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to providing high-quality care to our patients.
