American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Med/Surg Oncology RN for night shifts in a 24-bed acute care setting. The role requires NIHSS certification and a CO or compact RN license, with EPIC EMR usage and a strict nurse-to-patient ratio.

The position includes 12-hour shifts, weekend and holiday coverage, and travel-ready requirements such as a driver’s license and state residency considerations. Housing and licensure support are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active CO or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
• NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; BSN not required.
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration; two professional references required.

Responsabilités

• Med/Surg Oncology unit, 24-bed acute care setting.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4 with nurse aide support 1:5.
• Titrate drips including analgesics, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives.
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting.
• Unit has CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and vents.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed.
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available; weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
• Holiday coverage required; call/standby as assigned by nurse manager.
• Floating required with Zone 1 priority during extreme need.
• Provide direct patient care to med/surg oncology patients with diverse acute conditions.
