Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift Oncology unit in Salem, Virginia. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM; requires an active VA or compact RN license and at least one year of Med/Surg experience.

This travel position includes BLS, ONC certification, travel and licensure reimbursements, day-one medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k), weekly payroll, and access to CEUs with support from American

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience
• AHA or ARC BLS certification valid for at least 30 days after start
• ONC certification for oncology RNs
• No gaps in work history ≥90 days in past 12 months
• Must provide US SSN and date of birth

Responsibilities

• Work in Oncology (6W) unit in a hospital setting
• Care for medical-surgical oncology patients
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• May float within scope based on facility needs
• Dress code and holiday coverage per hospital policies
• Candidates with Canadian SSNs will not be considered
