Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Oncology RN for a night shift assignment in Virginia. The role requires an active VA or Compact RN license and an ONC certification, with at least one year of oncology nursing experience.
The 13-week assignment includes travel housing support, a comprehensive benefits package, and bonuses. Night hours are 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, and candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (VA or Compact) required.
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, not expiring within first 30 days of start)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology nursing
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Responsibilities
- Work in the 2N Oncology unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients in a Med/Surg setting
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No local candidates will be considered
