Job Summary

Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer in High Risk Maternal Fetal Medicine. This role involves conducting diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies across all trimesters, including first trimester dating, detailed anatomy assessments, fetal echocardiography, growth evaluations, Doppler studies, and transvaginal imaging. The sonographer works exclusively with perinatologists in a specialized fetal imaging center to deliver high‑quality ultrasound services and enhance professional skills.

Job Details

• Position Description: Conduct diagnostic ultrasound exams following protocols aligned with the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Ensure equipment functionality, implement quality assurance and quality control measures, evaluate patient history and symptoms, and communicate exam procedures effectively. Assist physicians with additional imaging or biopsy procedures as needed.
• Credentials: Must possess BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) certification, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential, and a High School diploma or GED.
• Education: Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology or graduated from an Accredited Sonography Program.
• Experience and Education: Current American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) registration, BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA). Preferred: Two or more years of ultrasound experience, Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification, Bachelor's degree.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of ultrasound experience, proficiency in multiple ultrasound imaging modalities (transabdominal, transvaginal, Doppler assessments), and comprehensive knowledge of obstetric ultrasound protocols.
• Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with Friday shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Additional information: Incumbent will assist with invasive genetic testing procedures, adhere to established ultrasound protocols, and complete necessary exam documentation promptly.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
