TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine for a 26-week assignment in Spokane, WA. You will perform ultrasound imaging, prepare exam rooms, and support radiologists with procedures during day shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of ultrasound experience, BLS, and ARDMS with OB/GYN credentials. Travel role offers weekly pay, benefits, and potential licensure support.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography for a travel job in Spokane, Washington.

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Spokane, WA. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

• Duration: 26 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days

As a US Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the ultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. US Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing ultrasound testing.

Tasks

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.

US Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. US Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
