Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a high-volume outpatient clinic in Durham, NC. The ideal candidate holds ARRT(M) and ARRT(R) with BLS and has 1+ year of mammography experience, plus Epic EMR and PACS familiarity.

Responsibilities include 3-D, digital, diagnostic and screening mammograms in a busy outpatient setting, with bi-weekly orientation and a Monday–Friday 5x8 schedule. Travel considerations may apply and local candidates within 75 miles are considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT(M), ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic, digital and screening mammograms.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures including 3-D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammograms.
• Work in outpatient high-volume clinic setting.
• Use Epic EMR and PACS for imaging and reporting.
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly and shifts are 5x8 hours, Monday–Friday.

• ARRT(M), ARRT(R), and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
• ER/Bone Densitometry experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Outpatient high-volume mammography clinic setting
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying start/end times between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Uses PACS system
• Performs mammography procedures including 3-D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammograms
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly
• Hot pink scrub color required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Up to 5-7 days of RTO allowed with submission
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions between October 31 and March 31
