Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a high-volume breast care imaging center in Atlanta. The role requires 2+ years of mammography experience and ARRT-Mammo certification, with BLS and state licensing as applicable.

The position involves performing mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density, and biopsy procedures in a very busy department (~100 patients per day). Travel staff must meet eligibility and be prepared for holidays and varied scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• ARRT-Mammo certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• At least one prior travel assignment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography, breast ultrasound, bone density, and biopsy procedures.
• Very high volume department (≈100 patients per day).
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.
• Use Hologic mammography equipment.
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
