GHR Healthcare is seeking a Travel Mammography Technologist / Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week contract in San Mateo, CA. The role offers a daytime schedule and on-site imaging in an outpatient mammography department, delivering high-quality breast imaging and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional mammography experience.
• California CRT license required.
• ARRT(M) Mammography certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with digital and 3-D mammography technologies.
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized breast imaging to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography using digital and 3-D imaging.
• Prepare patients, explain examinations clearly, and promote comfort.
• Assess and monitor patients during procedures and respond to individual needs.
• Exercise sound clinical judgment for safe, precise imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare staff, patients, and support persons.
• Maintain documentation and protect patient confidentiality.
• Support department operations and orient staff when appropriate.
