Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Mammography Tech for a 13-week assignment in Bellevue, WA. The technologist will perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging, ensure image quality, and maintain radiation safety standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

Requirements include one year as a Mammography Tech, current state license, and BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain medical imaging equipment, ensure machines are functioning properly, and organize the procedure room for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor image quality during procedures, adjusting as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Mammography Technologists.
