Mitchell Martin Healthcare is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Travel

One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, with more than 300 locations nationwide, has an immediate need for an experienced Mammography Technologist. The company is known for innovation and state-of-the-art equipment in a modern, patient-friendly setting.

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
• Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques when appropriate. Explain procedures to patients.
• Print films or burn CDs as required. Match images with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Treat patients and accompanying family members or care providers with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
• Monitor patients' well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical issues and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• NYS Licensed Mammography Tech
• ARRT (M) Certification & Card
• Familiarity with MQSA, QC, and diagnostic imaging protocols
• Knowledge of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis is a plus
• Experience with 3D scans & stereo imaging is ideal
• Minimum 2 years of experience
