Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3+ years of current mammography experience for an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the Mammography department
• Performs duties of Staff Radiologic Technologist in Briner Imaging and Medical Office Building Radiology services under general supervision of a Radiologist
• Conducts daily operations of the department
• Uses Epic EMR
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with rotation including 1 Saturday per month
• Days and weekends required, with a minimum of one weekend day per week expected

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, with current active work in the field required
• Completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program approved by JRCERT with a minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent
• Required: ARRT certification, BLS/CPR certification, and CRT certification for general radiography
• Preferred: current mammography certification in California and through ARRT
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates should have consistent, recent hands-on mammography experience rather than inactive licensure
• Minimum assignment length preferred at 12 weeks with option to renew after 8 weeks
