Medlivo is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Redwood City, California. The role entails 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts, and potential weekend call based on department needs.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in mammography, ARRT in radiography and mammography, and California license, plus experience with 3D tomosynthesis and Cerner EMR. A HIPAA-conscious team environment offers competitive benefits.

Basic Requirements – Mammography Technologist

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience
• Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography) experience preferred
• Ability to work with scheduled patients (approx. 1 patient per hour)
• Experience working with inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR patients

Licensure / Certifications:

• ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT (M) – Mammography Certification
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• California State Radiology / Mammography License
• COVID-19 Vaccination (required by facility)

Compliance / Documentation Requirements:

• Initial Digital Mammography CE Units
• Initial Tomosynthesis CE Units
• 2 years Mammography & Tomosynthesis CEU documentation
• Prior Mammography procedure volumes for the last 2 years
• Active certifications and licenses

Technical Skills:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Knowledge of digital mammography systems and tomography imaging
• Understanding of patient positioning, breast anatomy, and radiation safety

Systems / Equipment:

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience with Siemens mammography/CT imaging equipment (preferred)

Work Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts (Monday – Friday)
• Potential weekend call depending on department needs.
