Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Mammography Technologist for Orangeburg, SC. 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, dayshift. The Mammo Tech will operate mammography equipment, ensure image quality, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation.

Requirements include ARRT (M), BLS, and 1 year of experience. Travel role with a pay package based on 8-hour shifts; requires standing/walking for long periods and knowledge of anatomy and imaging terminology.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Mammography experience.
• AR RT (M) national certification and BLS required.
• State-specific licensing may be required for assignment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
• Perform mammography studies and adjust as needed for optimum results.
• Develop, review, and forward mammograms to radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and safety standards.
• Utilize McKesson PACS system for image management.
