Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Rosa, California. The Mammo Tech will operate a mammography unit, ensure image quality, and forward studies to radiologists for interpretation. This travel role requires ARRT (M), BLS, 1 year of experience, and state licensing where required.

Shifts are 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week, with 13 weeks duration and a travel stipend to be determined. Benefits are included through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography and BLS.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography unit and ensure images are accurate and properly forwarded for interpretation.
• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Develop mammograms and forward completed studies to radiologist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow standards and procedures.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
