Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Rosa, California. The role requires 1 year of Mammography experience, valid state license, and BLS certification.

You will perform imaging procedures, ensure quality and safety, and collaborate with radiology staff to deliver high-quality patient care. This travel position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

One year of experience as a Mammography Tech.
Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Explain procedures to patients and answer questions as they arise.
Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure machines function properly; organize the procedure room for safety and efficiency.
Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support patient care.
Follow hospital policies, safety regulations and infection control procedures.
Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE use, and isolation precautions.
Perform other duties within the Mammography Technologist scope of practice.
