Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role involves performing specialized breast imaging, assisting Radiologists, and educating patients, with 40 hours weekly and dayshift hours.

Requirements include a two-year radiologic technology program, ARRT registry, and state radiology registration; two years’ experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• ARRT Registry in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized mammography examinations and assist Radiologist with breast biopsies.
• Produce high quality breast images for radiologist evaluation.
• Educate patients about the exam and prepare them for procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
• Deliver safe, timely, compassionate patient care in a professional environment.
