Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography.
• BLS certification.
• State-specific licensing as required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions correctly.
• Conduct mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms.
• Develop mammograms and forward completed studies to the radiologist.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
