Job summary

Trailblazer Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The role focuses on operating 2D/3D mammography equipment, delivering high-quality breast images, and providing compassionate patient care.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years' experience, ARRT primary in Radiography with Mammography and current BLS. The position offers travel opportunities nationwide and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Mammography Technologist experience.
• Active ARRT certification with radiography and mammography endorsements.
• Active state radiologic technologist license or state mammography permit as applicable.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and MQSA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/3D mammography screening and diagnostic exams per MQSA standards.
• Assist radiologists with breast imaging procedures including ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and wire localization.
• Explain procedures to patients and optimize positioning for image quality and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage image transfers in PACS/RIS.
• Conduct routine QC testing on mammography equipment to ensure regulatory compliance.
