Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Staten Island, NY. The role involves performing mammography imaging, following physician orders, and ensuring patient safety while collaborating with radiologists and staff.

The ideal candidate will have one year of Mammography experience, a current state license, and a BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred, with additional licenses potentially required by facility policies.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ARRT Certification preferred; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and ensure safety.
• Position patients for imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure room safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure quality imaging.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
