Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Mammography Technologist with experience in screening and diagnostic mammography for an outpatient setting in Washington.

The role requires 1–2 years of mammography experience, BLS certification, WA state license if applicable, EPIC charting, and proficiency in 3‑D mammography and related procedures. Typical shifts are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 13-week assignment and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mammography experience.
• BLS certification required.
• WA state license required if applicable.
• EPIC charting experience.
• Proficiency in 3‑D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, FNA, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient mammography department.
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• 13 week assignment.
• May float within the hospital based on patient care needs.
• Completes required orientation modules during onboarding, signed off by facility managers.
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as non-local candidates.
• Travel pairs accepted.
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler.
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration.
