Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role requires 2+ years of experience and familiarity with Epic EMR; day shift 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible float within 25 miles of facilities.

You will perform diagnostic mammography imaging, document findings, and participate in a quality control program. Local MaineHealth considerations apply; references and license as applicable are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's License required for consideration.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department performing diagnostic mammography imaging exams and procedures.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Possible float within 25 miles between facilities as needed.
• Perform mammography imaging exams and quality control procedures according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and initiate emergency response as needed.
• Confirm patient identification, prep, and address patient questions and concerns.
• Process, review, and archive images while documenting findings and reporting diagnostic observations to physicians.
• Clean and inspect equipment, performing required testing for the quality control program.
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions.
• Candidates who worked at a MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration.
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract.
