Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Mammography Tech for a 16-week travel assignment in Barrow, AK. You will perform screenings and diagnostic imaging, ensure imaging quality, and support physicians to diagnose breast diseases. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Must have 1 year of Mammography experience, AK licensure, and BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred; other licenses may be required. Join a dedicated clinical team delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsabilités

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain imaging equipment and prepare the room for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams as necessary.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Perform other duties within the scope of Mammography Technologists
