Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring ARRT (M), ARRT (R), and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Outpatient mammography setting within a short term acute care, teaching hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating between units required for this role, though floating between sister facilities nearby may be expected
• Charting completed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist required
• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Oregon state license required if applicable, compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Skilled in 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
• Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment preferred
• PACS experience required

Additional Information

• Perform a range of mammography procedures including screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammograms, along with stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations
• Scrubs of any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
• No parking fee
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the offer process; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• First-time travelers may be considered if travel experience requirement is met
