Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, OR. You will implement physician orders, assist with imaging procedures, and ensure high-quality breast imaging while supporting patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Mammography Tech.
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification ( AHA/ARC )
• Preferred ARRT Certification; other certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedure.
• Maintain imaging equipment, ensure machines are functioning properly, and organize the procedure room for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams as necessary.
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
• Practice infection prevention through hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned within Mammography Technologist scope
