Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week LTC assignment in Janesville, WI. The role is 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, travel employment, with 36-hour weekly hours and 12-hour shifts.

Candidate must have 1 year in LTC/SNF, BLS, and be eligible for State licensure; additional certifications may be required. Immediate opening with pay package details and benefits from TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in a Long-Term Care or SNF setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Eligible for State licensure in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly.
• Supervise CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities.
• Provide wound care, catheter care and other skilled procedures.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists and social workers.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences.
• Document nursing care and resident progress accurately.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
