Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Long Term Care RN for a 13-week assignment in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in a LTC facility, monitor residents, administer treatments, and collaborate with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• As per LTC setting: valid RN license and one year of recent LTC RN experience.
• Valid RN license in line with state regulations.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor changes, and act to ensure well-being.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans with residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions and report concerns to the provider.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegating tasks to ensure quality care.
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic disease management.
• Document progress and health changes promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff for coordinated care.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice and safety protocols.
