Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The assignment is LTAC with a 13‑week duration and 36 hours per week, typically 12‑hour days.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of LTAC or high acuity setting experience, valid BLS, and eligibility for state licensure. ACLS may be required; travel nurses collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Long-Term Acute Care or similar high acuity setting.
• Current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vitals and labs.
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care and advanced wound management.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers on treatment plans.
