American Traveler is seeking an LPN/LVN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1.5+ years of nursing experience and current BLS certification. This is a travel role with a night shift and per diem options.

The position emphasizes acuity, early mobility, and teamwork in a fast-paced rehab unit. Cerner charting is used for documentation, and all travel nurses are welcome to apply, including first-time travelers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience in inpatient hospital/rehab setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred, required if serving in Charge Nurse role.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Cerner charting experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting.
• Rehabilitation unit with patients averaging about 14 days length of stay.
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15).
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• Uses Cerner charting system.
• Facility is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, not a nursing home or LTAC.
• Black or dark blue scrubs required with closed-toe shoes.
• Free parking available on-site.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates accepted.
• RTO must be approved at time of submission and will not be approved after offer; cannot request every holiday off.
• Call-outs must be reported more than 24 hours in advance.
