Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Western Illinois Correctional Center in MT. Sterling, IL.

The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision and rotate between Illinois facilities as needed. Eligible candidates must hold an Illinois LPN license, with CPR/BLS, and ideally have corrections or travel nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Illinois is required.
• Minimum of one year LPN experience in outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience is preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance including background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Work across facilities in Illinois per contract needs; each assignment at one location.
• Maintain scope of practice and respond to physical and behavioral health needs.
