Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Night Travel Licensed Practical Nurse for the Eagles Travel Team at Pulaski State Prison in Hawkinsville, GA. The LPN will travel to multiple Georgia facilities as contracts require, providing holistic care under supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Qualified candidates hold a GA LPN license, CPR/BLS, and ideally corrections or travel nursing experience. Must reside outside GA for Eagles program and pass all clearances.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Georgia LPN license.
• One year of LPN experience in clinics, hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass drug/criminal checks.
• Must reside outside Georgia for Eagles program.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within LPN scope to incarcerated patients.

Overview

Centurion is seeking a full-time Night Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Pulaski State Prison located in Hawkinsville, GA. The Eagles Travel LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout Georgia per contract needs. Each assignment is restricted to a single location. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff. Salary includes up to $1,740 per week with a non-taxed stipend and reflects the full-time, benefit-eligible role.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Travel across Georgia to locations as contracts require; each assignment is limited to a single location.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license in Georgia.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, or long-term care facility preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must reside outside of the state of Georgia (for Eagles program).
