Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Sidney, MT. The right RN should have 3 years' recent acute care experience and be available ASAP for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

L&D RNs provide care before, during and after delivery and assist physicians with epidurals, cesareans and newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, EFM may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix to monitor progression.
• Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns and delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
