Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for an immediate assignment in Lewistown, Montana. The position covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, and travel compensation arrangements.

Start date is soon, and ACLS/BLS are required along with 3 years of acute care experience. The L&D RN will monitor labor, assist with deliveries, support epidural or cesarean preparation when needed, ensure patient safety and provide newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel assignment with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12 hours, nights.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians during epidurals or cesarean prep.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
• Ensure sterile and clean delivery environment.
