Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor & Delivery Postpartum (LDRP) in Nampa, Idaho. This travel assignment requires strong L&D, postpartum, and newborn skills with the ability to float within a network.

Position features 12-hour nights, 36 hours weekly, no call, and potential holiday coverage. Experience with Epic and Centricity EFM is preferred. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years L&D experience and 1 year mother baby experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Experience attending deliveries, newborn care, triage, circulating and recovering C-Sections, and postpartum couplet care.
• Proficiency in titrating drips such as magnesium and Pitocin.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute hospital LDRP unit with 14 LDRP beds, 2 OR suites for C-Sections, and 4 triage beds.
• Assigned to night shifts, 7p-7a, with weekends as needed.
• Floating to multiple sites within the system based on L&D, Postpartum, or Antepartum needs.
• Patient population includes laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum couplets.
• Unit follows AWHONN staffing standards: 1:1 labor, 1:3 postpartum, 1:3 triage.
