Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Lexington, Kentucky. This role requires 3 years of acute care experience and certifications including ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP.

The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights, travel status. The LDRP RN will monitor labor, assist with deliveries, and provide immediate newborn care, with duties extending to patient support before, during, and after birth.

Qualifications

• 3 years acute care experience required.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS, AWHONN and NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervical dilation and labor progression.
• Assist with delivery instruments and drapes as needed.
• Provide immediate newborn care and transition support.
