Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) in Danbury, CT to support physicians in diagnostic tests and procedures and to operate imaging equipment for heart and vessel data.

The role requires ARRT RT certification, RCIS preferred, 2+ years in a Cath Lab, BLS/ACLS, and appropriate CT radiographer licensing where required. Full-time with travel opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with RCIS preferred.
• 2 years' Cath Lab experience.
• BLS & ACLS Certification (AHA preferred).
• State CT radiographer license where required.
• Experience scrubbing EP procedures and cardiac catheterization.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and Cath lab team in diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture heart and vessel data.
• Scrub electrophysiology procedures and cardiac catheterization cases.
• Support with neurovascular and peripheral vascular procedures.

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Must have
• 2 years' experience
• in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• State of CT Radiographer license in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCIMinimum 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience
• Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems
• Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases, and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices
• Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
• Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices

Assignment Details:

Shift hours: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts with variable start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM

Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required based on department needs
